Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026 · Version: Beta 1.0

1. About this policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser localStorage) that Dai Segni uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Under § 25 TTDSG, storing or reading information on your device requires your prior consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested. Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interest and the performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Non-essential cookies — in our case, product analytics — are set only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

For how we handle your personal data more generally, including your rights and the processors we work with, see our Privacy Policy.

2. Cookie categories

  • Essential — required for the Service to function: signing in, processing payments, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics — help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it, and give us richer context when diagnosing errors. These are set only if you choose "Accept all".

3. Cookies we use

| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration | Legal basis | | ------------------- | --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------- | -------------------------------- | --------------------------- | | sb-* | Supabase (Auth) | Keeps you signed in | Essential | Session / refresh token lifetime | Art. 6(1)(b), (f) GDPR | | __stripe_mid | Stripe | Payment fraud prevention | Essential | 1 year | Art. 6(1)(b), (f) GDPR | | __stripe_sid | Stripe | Payment fraud prevention | Essential | 30 minutes | Art. 6(1)(b), (f) GDPR | | ds_anon_id | Dai Segni | Links your cookie choice to your account if you sign up; forms part of our consent record | Essential | 1 year | Art. 6(1)(c), (f) GDPR | | ds_cookie_consent | Dai Segni | Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask again | Essential | 1 year | Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR | | ph_*, _ph_* | PostHog (EU) | Product usage analytics | Analytics | Up to 1 year | Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) |

Error tracking and session replay (Sentry). Sentry stores short-lived trace identifiers in your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage rather than in traditional cookies. Error tracking is strictly necessary for service integrity and runs regardless of your choice (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); URLs are scrubbed of identifiers before they are sent. Sentry session replay, which records a reconstruction of your session to help us debug errors, is analytics-level data and is enabled only if you choose "Accept all" (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

PostHog (EU Cloud) and Sentry are described in Section 4 of our Privacy Policy, including the international-transfer basis for each.

4. Managing your preferences

When you first visit Dai Segni, a banner asks you to choose between "Accept all" and "Essential only". Both choices are equally easy to make, and declining is as straightforward as accepting. Analytics cookies are not set unless you choose "Accept all".

You can change your choice at any time using the button below. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out beforehand.

If you choose "Essential only", we still set the essential cookies listed above, but no analytics cookies or session replay. If you clear your cookies, the banner will appear again on your next visit.

When we make material changes to the cookies we use, we update the policy version above and ask you to confirm your choice again.
